Porcelain Paving Installation in Bexley
We deliver expert porcelain paving installation services for patios, pathways and outdoor spaces across Bexley. Porcelain offers consistent colour retention, minimal maintenance requirements and outstanding durability that traditional paving materials simply cannot match.
Porcelain paving is perfectly suited for diverse outdoor areas in Bexley, including:
- Patios and seating areas – The non-porous nature prevents staining from food, drinks and furniture marks
- Pathways and walkways – Retains colour consistency without fading, maintaining aesthetic appeal indefinitely
- Pool and spa surrounds – R11-rated options provide excellent slip resistance when wet
Porcelain demands different groundwork preparation than natural stone. Our installations utilize either a concrete base with adhesive bonding or a pedestal system for raised applications such as roof terraces. The concrete base method involves laying a 100mm reinforced concrete slab, then fixing tiles with flexible adhesive and using specialist grouting materials to ensure proper porcelain adhesion.
We always recommend resin grout for porcelain installations, as it provides flexibility, outstanding weather resistance, and can be colour-matched to either complement or contrast with your porcelain tiles.
For patio installations, we can apply a sand/cement bed method similar to natural stone techniques, though the adhesive approach delivers superior long-term stability. Installation timeframes typically span 2 to 4 days for a standard patio project from start to finish.
In addition to porcelain paving, we provide alternative surfacing options for your outdoor areas, including paving, sandstone installations, and limestone.

We are very happy with all the work completed they are very polite quick and cost efficient and we would definitely recommend them
We contacted Terrapave after being impressed with their work in the local area. Once we decided what we wanted (new front wall, side walls and resin driveway with brick borders) they got started on the job just 30 minutes later.
Pat runs a very well organised operation where there are no delays and the job is seamless. He has a team of skilled workers who all work hard, are respectful and clear away at the end of each day. Pat has a keen eye for detail and notices small aspects that an untrained eye would not think about, but makes the end product impressive.
Terrapave take pride in their work and i would say go over and above. They noticed that between two bricks, the cement looked a slightly different colour, so before leaving at the end of the job, they replaced these.
In summary, we are very pleased with our driveway and the new walls. We took all of Pat's recommendations and capitalised on the space available. It looks lovely.
Great job well done
